Mission and Policy at Business 21 Alliance Networks

Participation in this Service Alliance Members' Network is open for all Network Members as an advanced level program. Network Membership is complimentary to all BPII course participants, affiliates and partners. Third party participation/ registration is required to subscribe to the Network Advantage Program.

Mission of Business 21

Business21 Network is a multifaceted strategic exchange hub. Created to achieve business synergy through resource collaboration and strategic partnering among its network members. One internet platform for cross promotion of different businesses and professional practices in the global community.

It provides opportunity for members to showcase their products and services. A network of multi-business exchanges and support system for both BPII participants and its corporate partners. It provides an excellent avenue for strategic alliance and development of each other business and professional services and to accord priority of services among network members.

There are six specialty Hubs at Business21. Each specialty hub has its own independent website and complemented with a range of BPII initiated e-biz support systems. Participants can select a choice of membership from any of these Hubs.

Policy Statement relating to Specialty Hubs and Business 21 Network Management.

Each Specialty Hub has its Business Unit Advisory Panel. Each Hub carries out its functions in a manner which is consistent with the mission statement of BPII and Business 21 's Network Strategy and Business Plan. All Business Unit Panels observe collective decisions of the Specialty Hubs and to align their decision with that of Business21 Network Management Board to achieve the intent of this alliance Network.

The role of the Specialty Hubs :

  1. within the overall framework laid down by Business 21's Membership Policy, assess the competence for individual entry to the Specialty Hub.
  2. maintain high standards of practice and competence within the business and professional discipline
  3. promote the Network’s area of practice; promote each other goods and services within the Business21 Alliance Network
  4. produce relevant resource material and services; provide networking opportunities for Members
  5. make proposals for inclusion into Business21 Network's Business Plan. Manage programme of work and oversee its implementation
  6. provide and promote training and development opportunities for Network Members
  7. help to identify market requirements and service opportunities, recommend area for improvement to Business21 Network Policy Committee and liaise on matters within their sphere of responsibility
  8. represent the Network's interests at other Specialty Networks at Business21
  9. oversee the administration of staff, including handling enquiries, membership and business resource requests
  10. make recommendations to and seek approval from the BPII and Business21 Network Management Board on the formation of Interest Group, Service Forums and on any collaboration, affiliation and partnership scheme with other bodies
The role of the Business21 Network Management Board :
  1. Business21 Board recommends best practice statements and where appropriate the form of monitoring and investigation of compliance, and oversee the implementation of its decisions;
  2. Business21 Board proposes arrangements for BPII Internationalization Program, providing details of proposed programmes and collaboration of services, including their viability and implementation outcome.
  3. Business21 Board defines within the overall framework laid down by BPII Management Board and its Membership Policy :

  1. the competence requirements for individual entry to the Specialty Hub at Business 21 Network, through systematic Assessment of Applicant's Business Status and/or company profile; and

  2. the post entry of academic, professional or specialist qualifications.
