Mission and Policy at Professional 21 Network

Participation in this Service Alliance Members' Network is open for all Network Members as an advanced level program. Network Membership is complimentary to all BPII course participants, affiliates and partners. Third party participation/ registration is required to subscribe to the Network Advantage Program.

Mission of Professional 21

The Professional 21 Network is established to advance the status of different professions and an opportunity to promote your professional practices. A network for multi-disciplinary alliances and mutual support for both BPI participants and its corporate partners. It provides an excellent avenue for professionals and companies to share expertise and experiences in their specific disciplines and to provide a priority of services for each other.

There are twenty two specialty Networks at Professional21. Each specialty network has its own independent website link. Select a choice of membership from any of these networks

Policy Statement relating to Specialty Networks, Advisory Panels and Professional 21 Network Management.

Each Network has its Professional Advisory Panel. Each Sepcialty Network carries out its functions in a manner which is consistent with the mission statement of BPII and Professional 21 's Network Strategy and Business Plan. All Professional Panels observe decisions of the Specialty Faculties and Professional21 Board to achieve the intent of this service Network.

The role of the Professional Advisory Panel @ Specialty Network :

  1. within the overall framework laid down by Professional 21's Membership Policy, assess the competence for individual entry to the Specialty Network through the Assessment of Applicant's Professional Status
  2. maintain high standards of practice and competence within the professional discipline
  3. promote the Network’s area of practice; promote each other services within the Professional21 Network
  4. produce relevant resource material and services; provide networking opportunities for Members
  5. make proposals for inclusion into Professional 21 Network's Business Plan. Manage programme of work and oversee its implementation
  6. provide and promote training and development opportunities for Network Members
  7. help to identify market requirements and service opportunities, recommend area for improvement to Professional 21 Network Policy Committee and liaise on matters within their sphere of responsibility
  8. represent the Network's interests at other Specialty Networks at Professional 21
  9. oversee the administration of staff, including handling enquiries, membership and business resource requests
  10. make recommendations to and seek approval from the BPII and Professional 21 on the formation of Interest Group, Service Forums and on any collaboration, affiliation and partnership scheme with other bodies
The role of the Professional21 Network Board :
  1. Professional 21 recommend best practice statements and where appropriate the form of monitoring and investigation of compliance, and oversee the implementation of its decisions;
  2. Professional 21 Network proposes arrangements for BPII Internationalization Program, providing details of proposed programmes and collaboration of services, including their viability and implementation outcome.
  3. Professional 21 defines within the overall framework laid down by BPII Management Board and its Membership Policy :

  1. the competence requirements for individual entry to the Specialty Faculty at Professional 21 Network, through systematic Assessment of Applicant's Professional Status; and
  2. the post entry of academic, professional or specialist qualifications and/or

  3. Appoint professional advisory panel members.
